Polyurethane Resins for Sealants
Trixene BI7770 series
A range of blocked aromatic polyurethane prepolymers which have a high degree of flexibility. The primary use of these products includes the flexibilisation of epoxy systems, to enhance properties of sealant / encapsulant applications, which are to be used in areas such as bridge and pavement jointing. The range offers the formulator a high degree of latitude when considering what properties they require from an end product. The range also includes BI7673 which can be used as an automotive underseal to enhance stone chip resistance.
Trixene SC7700 series
A range of low to medium molecular weight aromatic polyfunctional isocyanates. Which due to their inherent flexibility and availability as low as <0.1% free monomer can be used in various sealant/ encapsulant applications including rail track embeddment and gas pipe repair compounds.
Quasilan SE series
A range of 100% solids medium viscosity aromatic prepolymers with low and high modulus properties designed specifically for the one component sealant market. These products are designed to be for formulators to use as building blocks to produce a finished product for the sealant market.
Quasilan RB series
A range of medium to low viscosity speciality polyester/polyether polyols designed for two component systems. Their use covers application areas including sealant products for the DIY and flooring markets. These can be used with both aromatic, aliphatic Isocyanates and prepolymers to produce high quality products with varying properties according to end use.
Quasilan CT series
A range of moisture cure medium and low viscosity prepolymers. Based upon aromatic polyfunctional isocyanates. Can be used in one component moisture curing priming and sealing applications. Applications include concrete and block sealer for airports and runways as well as floor sealers.
