Trixene SC7700 series
A range of low to medium molecular weight Toluene di-isocyanate polyfunctional isocyanates. Which due to their physical properties they can be used in various binder applications including cork, rubber, foam lamination and various other flexible applications. The range also offers prepolymers with free monomer at less than 0.1% due to Baxenden's stripping plant capability.
Trixene SC7800 series
A range of solvent based and 100% solids low and medium molecular weight Methylene di-phenyl-di-isocyanate based prepolymers. Can be used as wood glues, rubber crumb binders, and various other bonding applications. Typical properties include high tensile strength and chemical resistance to a wide range of solvents and acids.
Trixene SC7900 series
A range of moisture cure, fully reacted and two component medium viscosity polymers. Based upon polyfunctional aliphatic isocyanates, which can be used as one component moisture cure and two pack adhesive products. The main area of interest being the inherent flexibility and light stability for clear adhesive applications.
Quasilan AD series
A range of solvent based and 100% solids medium and low viscosity aromatic prepolymers. Can be used in industrial lamination adhesives, bead adhesives, structural and high tack adhesives as well as in various other binding products. They find particular use in the fabric to foam lamination and foam to metal/ plastic fabrication markets.
Quasilan LKA400
A Thermoplastic polyurethane in solvent, designed for industrial lamination processes. Particularly vinyl lamination and can also be used for belting products within the food industry. The product has a high degree of bond when heat activated at 80ºC and crosslinked with Quasilan AD49 ( Methylene -di-phenyl-di-isocyanate based polymer).
Trixene BI7770 series
A range of blocked aromatic polyurethane prepolymers which have a high degree of flexibility. The primary use of these products includes the flexibilisation of epoxy systems, to give performance enhancement in such applications as industrial floor adhesives. They are generally ambient cure when cured with an epoxy amine hardener. The range offers the formulator a high degree of latitude when considering what properties they require from an end product.
